Riker: "Captain, why are we out here chasing comets?"

Piccard: "Let's just say that Starfleet has every confidence in the Enterprise and her crew, there just not sure about her captain. They believe that someone who has been assimilated by the Borg should not be put in a position where he would have to face them again. {pause} To do so would introduce an unstable element to a critical situation."

[Captain Ericks 0]

Riker: "That's Ridiculous, your experience with the Borg, makes you the perfect man to lead this fight"

Piccard: "Admiral Hayes disagrees"

[Captain Ericks 0]

Troi-{over the comm.}-"Troi to Captain Picard."

Piccard:"Go ahead"

[Captain Ericks 0]

Troi-"We've recieved word from the fleet. They've engaged the Borg."

 

Picard and Riker leave for the bridge.

Piccard:"Data, put starfleet frequency 1, 4, 8, 6, on audio"

Audio: ...Moving into position, it's a cube, bearing... (STATIC)

 

Then a metallic voice comes through the speakers..:

 

WE ARE THE BORG. LOWER YOUR SHIELDS, AND SURRENDER YOUR SHIPS. WE WILL ADD YOUR BIOLOGICAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL DISTINCTIVENESS TO OUR OWN. YOUR CULTURE WILL ADAPT TO SERVICE US. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.

Third man-"All units, open fire. Remodulate shield frequency."

 

the transmission continues

 

(let's just avoid a big mess)

 

Picard stands and walks over to Data's station and shut of the transmission.

[Captain Ericks 0]

BUMP!! :borgqueen:

Picard: "If not anyone is against it, I'm going to violate Starfleet orders. We're going to Earth."

Everyone looks at eachother, then Data says:

"Sir, I think I speaks for everyone here then I say; To hell with the Starfleet's orders."

 

Then we see the Enterprise goes to warp.

 

Moving to another scene; we see a Borg Cube moving to Earth. The Cube is being fired at from some ships who are trying to defend Earth. Among them we see the Defiant.

The Defiant avoid a few attacks from the Cube, but one hits the ship.

Aboard the Defiant we see it's a mess;

Tactical officer: "Sir, the shields and weapons are down!"

We see a hand reaches up from behind a chair, then the person, who is the captain, looks up, and we see it's Worf.

Worf: "Maybe today is a good day to die! Helm, prepare for ramming speed!"

When the helm officer registrates something.

Helm officer: "Sir, another ship is coming in. It's the Enterprise!"

Worf looks up at the screen then he hears this.

OUtside we see the Enterprise moving in and passes by close to the Defiant. The Defiant looks small to the Enterprise.

The Cube fires at the Enterprise just as it gets there.

 

(Wow, my logest post yet. But I am not sure if I got everythig correct though...)
