The URL for the poster was hidden as an Easter egg in the most recent movie trailer, while the new photo comes from the Star Trek into Darkness app. The poster features Zoe Saldana, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, and Benedict Cumberbatch, the first three armed. The photo from the Star Trek into Darkness app features Alice Eve, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, and Chris Pine, who are looking up as something is being lowered to the floor.
