Set in L.A., The New Normal is about a gay couple and the waitress who becomes a surrogate for the pair who want to have a baby. “Proud to announce Nicole Richie and the legendary George Takei are joining The New Normal family,” said Executive Producer Ryan Murphy, via Twitter.
