Bethlehem 7 Posted October 25, 2010 Van Roy needs too be a writer for this series. We would really find out about "sex and relationships", maybe more than we would want.
He Who Shall Not Be Named 2 Posted October 25, 2010 (edited) No thanks. You get 4 ladies together and all they will talk about is how much they hate men (but love sex). Besides, did you notice one of the "single" ladies is married? Inevitably she will blame her husband for wanting to be single. Edited October 25, 2010 by Lt. He Who Shall Not Be Named 2 Posted October 25, 2010 (edited) There is a growing body of evidence that suggests women cheat in relationships just as often as men, maybe even more. The problem is men and women define cheating differently. Women don't consider it cheating unless their relationship is perfect and they pursue something outside of it. When the relationship isn't perfect, or she is seduced, or it "just happens" doesn't count. Also, when a woman decides to cheat in her mind the relationship is over. Never mind the formality of a divorce, moving out, or even letting the guy know things have ended. If the formal relationship ender isn't followed through on, oh well. Of course that is how women define cheating for themselves. Their definition of cheating for men is not nearly as permissive. One thing that is interesting is that, in surveys on the subject, men give consistent answers regardless of the medium of the survey. They answer the same whether it is face-to-face (but still anonymous) or online. Women, however, change their answers between online and anonymous or face-to-face but still anonymous. I'm not saying men don't cheat but if we do we don't rationalize it to ourselves as being something else. Edited October 26, 2010 by Lt. Van Roy
