master_q 0 Posted October 22, 2003 Halloween Jack-O-Lantern Competition We are proud to announce that StarTrekFans.net is going to have a Halloween Jack-O-Lantern Competition! That's right StarTrekFans.net's first official competition is going to start . . . Halloween is coming and I thought it might be neat if we had people send in their pictures of their hand-carved Jack-O-Lanterns. Then on Halloween we'll post all of the pictures that we received and create a poll where everyone can vote on which Jack-O-Lantern is the best. The winner will receive some prizes: First - the picture will be placed in the announcements then receiving the honor and pride of winning. Second - an award picture will be placed in that person's "trivia rank" (but you don't have to be a trivia player to get that award picture). Third - you will receive bonus trivia points (unless not wanted). We are not really expecting any master piece or Iron Chief style carvings. This is for fun. And if possible it might be neat if you somehow incorporated Star Trek into your Jack-O-Lantern (but that is not required). Send in your picture before 10-31 with the picture as an attachment in an e-mail to contest@startrekfans.net But before you send the e-mail - Contact VaBeachGuy through a PM saying what your e-mail address is and that you are going to send in your Jack-O-Lantern picture.
