Saldana: Going To Keep Fit

Recommended Posts

Even though she turns thirty-two this month, Zoë Saldana doesn’t plan on slacking when it comes to keeping in shape.

For most people, the thirties mean accepting changes in the body and mind. “I’m very accepting of my age,” said Saldana. “I like it. The thirties are great. It’s like notches on your belt: experience, wisdom, and a different kind of beauty. I have become comfortable in my skin.”

When it comes to her backside, Saldana refuses to allow nature to take its course without a fight. “But with changes that are supposed to happen from now on I am going to try to do everything I can to keep this ass together for as long as I possibly can, without going against nature.”

To keep in shape, Saldana trains and takes on roles in action films such as The Losers, where it took six months of workouts to be fit enough to do her own stunts in the movie. “It is exhausting,” she said. “Sometimes you kind of ask yourself, I wonder if this is going to have any permanent damage on my elbow or my ankle and things like that.

“The reality is that it’s fun, it looks great, and it’s the least that I can do. I enjoy it a lot, I really do.”

Well that's good. Star Trek wouldn't be Star Trek without Zoe's ass.
