Episode Spotlight: "The Collective"

In the episode "The Collective" where Seven meets up with the Borg children, there is an infant Borg that gets beamed back to sick bay, remember? My question is what happened to that baby? We learned of the fate of the other children. But never that baby. Any ideas of about what happened or why nothing at all happened? B)

I think I heard or read somewhere that it was in the script that the baby was returned to it's people. But that scene didn't make it into the episode.

 

Of course, I have no facts to back this up, so I could be totally wrong. B)
