Lynx 0 Posted April 27, 2009 I recently got the information that Geocities is shutting down. As some of you may know, I have a website at Geocities, the Kes Website at: http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Park/1964/ Since I'm can't afford paying for an account due to the financial crisis caused by the US banks and due to currency problems with a constantly sinking currency in my home country, I have to find another FREE web host and I have to find it quick. Since I have 9,2 MB.s to move, I can't create an account where I'm only allowed to have four pages with pictures of my cat, dog, hamster or vegetable garden. I need more than that to keep up the good standard of my website. I need to find a serious host which can provide the same high standard as Geocities once did, or the Kes Website will have to close down for good. I'm grateful for all tips and information I can get. Angela 1 Posted April 28, 2009 A few ideas http://www.webs.com/pages/features/ http://www.angelfire.lycos.com/ - 20mb of space http://www.tripod.lycos.com/ - 20mb also And some advice. use angelfire and tripod, interlink two sites with links to pages hosted on each of the seperate servers and you get 40mb which would leave you with 30mb spare. Save all of your files from your current server, that way you can take your time searching for another server. If all else fails and you just can't find a free server let me know and maybe I can set up a sub-domain for you here or something.

But I've already signed up for 110mb. However, I will keep you in mind if any problem should occur. Once again I must thank all the nice people who have come up with support and very good suggestions. As for the files, I always have a back-up.
