A l t e r E g o 9 Posted March 20, 2009 I don't know all the details on where exactly the epicenter was yet but I am here to tell you I felt it. About 45 seconds of a slow rocker. I heard it before I felt it, sounded like someone was outside banging on a rug to clean it, (something people around here do a lot of) but then I noticed the shades were keeping time with it. Then I noticed the ceiling fan was to swinging back and forth, that is when I knew it was a quake.
A l t e r E g o 9 Posted March 20, 2009 Well it's been nearly an hour and still no news coverage of this event. No neighbor I've talked to about to felt it. I think it may be a very minor & local event or perhaps they are having exercises out at Miramar.
Chataeya 0 Posted March 22, 2009 I hope things have quieted down there for you. As we use to get them in Philadelphia PA. Most times the center was else where, but we felt them as the homes we lived in sat on solid rock.
