VaBeachGuy 12 Posted October 7, 2003 I was just thinking back to TNG, DS9 and Voyager and how they ended after 7 seasons. Does anyone remember how the networks handled this after the show's final episode? Did they continue to run repeats during the summer until the new season or did they come out with a replacement show the very next week? Just something I was wondering and couldn't remember. A l t e r E g o 9 Posted October 7, 2003 In my area there were summers of repeat episodes for the concluding series leading up the series finale showing again one week before the new series premier. It would have nice though, to have them be only a week apart.
VaBeachGuy 12 Posted October 8, 2003 What I'm talking about is after the 7 season run was completed and "All Good Things", "What You Leave Behind" and "End Game" had been aired did the networks continue to play reruns during the summer from season 7 or did they begin running other things right after the final series episode? A l t e r E g o 9 Posted October 8, 2003 did the networks continue to play reruns during the summer from season 7 Yes. The last three or so months of each series re-played in order until the week before the next series premiered.
