If they decide to keep Brunell in the entire game against Buffalo... a preschool class could beat the Jags   :borg2: ...I will be very surprised if they win this week. Very surprised! ;)

Brunell is just not cutting it anymore  and they are letting a pretty good quarterback, albeit a rookie, sit on the sidelines. And if not Byron Leftiwich, then put the third choice in... David Gerard, we saw some good things come from him too.

This Seahawks fan agrees with you,admiral....the Panthers beating the Bucs? Not going to happen.

I doubt this too, but this is a dangerous game for Tampa. After a big win on Monday they think they are "IT" and could come in with the thought that no one can beat them.

I'd be a little afraid of this game if I were a Bucs fan.

Ok here's my Week 2 predictions. I was 8-8 for week one but things should be more settled down now.

Buffalo Over Jacksonville

Baltimore Over Cleveland

Green Bay Over Detroit

New Orleans Over Houston

Miami Over N.Y. Jets

Pittsburgh Over Kansas City

San Francisco Over St. Louis

Tennessee Over Indianapolis

Washington at Atlanta (I'll come back to this one later)

Tampa Bay Over Carolina

Seattle at Arizona (I'll come back to this one later)

Oakland Over Cincinnati

Denver Over San Diego

Philadelphia Over New England

Minnesota Over Chicago

Monday, Sep. 15

N.Y. Giants Over Dallas

Time to pick VBG apart:

Buffalo Over Jacksonville: No brainer.

Baltimore Over Cleveland: A little tougher, but I still have to agree with you.

Green Bay Over Detroit: If this were in Detroit, I might disagree with you. But I would be very surprised if GB loses two home games in a row. BTW Peewee, Detroit looked good against ARIZONA. Any team that does not look good against Arizona should consider some serious roster changes (or a coaching change)!

New Orleans Over Houston: Last week's win by Houston was a glitch. You are correct.

Miami Over N.Y. Jets: Correct.

Pittsburgh Over Kansas City: This is a tough one, but I am inclined to go with KC.

San Francisco Over St. Louis: BUZZZZZZZZZZ! The return of Bulger spells doom for SF.

Tennessee Over Indianapolis: Correct.

Tampa Bay Over Carolina: No brainer (which is why Peewee took Carolina  ).

Oakland Over Cincinnati: No brainer.

Denver Over San Diego: Tough one. Gotta take the Bolts at home.

Philadelphia Over New England: The Pats looked WRETCHED last week. So did the Eagles, but I think they were playing a better team. I have to agree.

Minnesota Over Chicago: Of course. Isn't it ironic that the same team which brought us Bobby Douglass is now starting Kordell Stewart?

N.Y. Giants Over Dallas: No brainer.

Now for your non-picks:

Washington at Atlanta: What's so hard here? The Skins BARELY survived the Jets. The Falcons dominated the Cowboys. The Falcons will dominate the Skins.

Seattle at Arizona: This is a no brainer. Seattle wins BIG! (sorry Peewee)

Uh oh! I just realized that, except for your two "non-picks", I only disagreed with you once. Either you're getting better, or I'm going to have to rethink my picks! :(

San Francisco Over St. Louis: BUZZZZZZZZZZ! The return of Bulger spells doom for SF.

In my post Eagles loss depressions I always tune out NFL news for fear that I will see highlights, so I miss a lot of other news at the same time. Bulger is in now? That would make me re-think the pick, but I still think I'll stay with the 49ers for now.

Washington at Atlanta: What's so hard here? The Skins BARELY survived the Jets. The Falcons dominated the Cowboys. The Falcons will dominate the Skins.

Seattle at Arizona: This is a no brainer. Seattle wins BIG! (sorry Peewee)

I had forgotten to go back and finish the picks, I will before the games though.

Washington and Atlanta can still be tough. Without Vick I think it will be harder for them to win. The Redskins are a 7-9 team in my opinion but they can still be dangerous.

Arizona will in all likelyhood remain "Arizona" but again they will win 4 or 5 games this year. I'll look at the numbers and make the picks there.

The thing that I would look for as far as upsets go would be Tampa losing to Carolina. I picked Tampa and I think Tampa will win, but this is the perfect game for the Bucs to go to sleep and get slapped.

While I think it is possible for Carolina to get an early lead on the Bucs, I think that will be enough to send a wake-up call to the Bucs.

Buffalo Over Jacksonville: No brainer.

Of course that one is a no brainer, at this point a pile of rocks could beat the Jags.

Unless a miricle happens I only have two favorite teams instead of three now. uuuggghhh, boy I am glad that game was blacked out.

Since we only disagreed on two games (Atlanta/Wash. & St. Louis/SF) amnd we split those games, I guess that leaves me at 9-6 also. I knew I picked too much like you. :tear:
