She doesn't look young anymore, does she? I've seen recent pics of her and she is definitely showing her age a bit.

true enough. They are about the same age Palmer was 54 and Visitor is 50 so it could work.

 

I'm more interested in what the story will be. Last time I heard, they were going to reboot the series with Jason and not Mrs. Voorhees. I guess they decided to do a true remake. They could also have just a little of Mrs. Voorhees and it still focus mainly on Jason I guess.

Well, in the first Jason movie, Jason doesn't really show up until the final scene. It is his mother who did all the killing as I recall. I doubt that the remake will resemble the original at all.

yeah, but the original idea was that they were going to reboot the series by having the story set between the second and third film. I guess they decided to go back to the beginning with Jason's mom. There won't be any shock since everyone knows that Jason's mom is the killer. I wonder how different it will be.
