WHEELING, W.Va. (AP) - It wasn't a typical Valentine's Day wedding.

Kevin Felder and Misty Johnson exchanged wedding vows Thursday just minutes after Felder was sentenced in Ohio County Circuit Court to five to 18 years in prison for second-degree robbery. Felder wore an orange jumpsuit and handcuffs.

"It's a decision between the two of us. I am sorry for what I did, and I want to be a better man when I come home," Felder said.

Circuit Judge James Mazzone performed the wedding after sentencing Felder. He declined Felder's request to have the handcuffs removed during the ceremony.

"I'm sorry, but I can't allow that," Mazzone said. "You are in custody."

Felder took $340 during a robbery of the Wheeling Island Convenient store on Sept. 5, Assistant Ohio County Prosecutor Steven Vogrin said.

Johnson said goodbye to Felder as he was escorted from the courtroom.

"I love him that much," she said tearfully. "That's all I can say."

So after the phrase "in sickness and health," was the phrase "in the slammer" added? <_<

I wonder if the orange jumpsuit clashed with the bride's outfit? :spock:
