trekz 7 Posted February 5, 2008 QUOTE: “This may be related to various overfishing and pollution issues decreasing access to fish populations, contrasted with exploding deer populations,” they said. When I see deer exploding, that makes me want to stay inside. :jem'hadar: Seriously, this is very depressing. Personally my last national park camping expedition was in 1995. I have visited some in this country and others since then, but not as a camper, which is a really a closer to nature experience. For me national parks are an escape from the city environment where I live an work. National and state parks are indeed treasures we must fight to preserve, including trying to keep them from becoming the only habitat for wild animals in this country, rather than important parts of a vast area of habitat that is suitable for wildlife and recreation purposes.
