TJ Phaserman 2 Posted December 19, 2007 NEW YORK - Here comes the bride, all dressed in white ... two-ply, extra soft toilet paper. Lovebirds Jennifer Cannon and Doy Nichols of Lexington, Ky., plan to get hitched Wednesday in a public restroom. She'll be wearing a gown fashioned from glue, tape and Charmin Ultra Soft and Ultra Strong toilet tissue. The intricately detailed dress was designed by Hanah Kim, winner of the 2007 Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest, sponsored by Cheap-Chic-Weddings.com. The wedding ceremony, to be attended by family and friends, will take place in Times Square at the Charmin Restrooms — temporary, free public restrooms, a company spokeswoman said Tuesday. KIMIMELA 1 Posted December 19, 2007 Oh please, wedding in a restroom?! What do they use for confetti? Poo plops? Of course it is up to them what they want but as Kor says, I think she might regret it!
trekz 7 Posted December 19, 2007 The bridal train is expected to be stuck to the underside of her shoe. That would be a drag.
Wishfire 2 Posted December 19, 2007 Imagine if it starts pouring rain as she exits the restroom. Could be quite a show!..... Well, if worse comes to worse, you could always show up with a bucket of water. Bring a mop, too, so you could say that you're the janitor if anyone asks. Theunicornhunter 2 Posted December 19, 2007 I think it's a crappy idea. If ever a marriage was slated to go down the toilet this one is starting out circling. Although, I actually remember seeing something about the Charmin Restrooms - they are a bit more upscale than the typical public restroom. Which is sort of like saying outhouses are more upscale than trenches.
youbroughtheryouRiker 2 Posted December 20, 2007 Reminds me of that scene in "Silent Movie" where it says "Our bathrooms are nicer than most people's homes."
