Kanye's mom dies after 'cosmetic procedure'

The mother of hip-hop mogul Kanye West died following a "cosmetic procedure" in Los Angeles this weekend, her publicist told CNN Monday.

the rapper kanye west? you remember he went on national tv with mike myers saying "bush doesn't care about black people" (except when it comes to his sec. of state). anyways, i think im hearing rumors she had a bad heart condition and two doctors sent her away while warning her about it. she just had to pick one who only cared about money and she died while on the table.

Actually, cosmetic surgery can be quite dangerous. Any surgery puts you at risk of dying from infection; the stress of surgery on a weakened system can lead to heart failure and anytime you have anesthesia you're at risk.

 

And then there are the things go wrong - like getting the laser scalpel too close the oxygen tubing (yikes); liposuctioning too much and sending the body into shock; administering wrong drugs or wrong doses or undisclosed medical conditions.

well i understand that much, it's just that they are saying that she had a preexisting heart condition, 2 doctors closed the doors on her but one just had to operate for the money.

She died while having a tummy tuck and breast reduction surgery. Really weird case...

Its also been reported today that this "doctor" has been arrested several times for DUI. Also, it took over 8 hours for him to do this surgery, twice the average time. He's also got several lawsuits pending for shoddy work. I would have thought that this woman could have picked a better surgeon than this guy!

Any type of surgery is dangerous. Any time you have any surgery, it is a trauma to the body. Sportswriter Dick Schaap died after having hip-replacement surgery. So, it can happen to anyone.
