When ever people start slamming Walmart for its labor practices - I wonder how many are making complaints using cell phones or ISP's that have outsourced their customer service overseas? Kor37 9 Posted May 11, 2007 Outsourcing is killing this country. Many major companies don't even answer the telephone anymore. I called the customer service department of our local newspaper, The Baltimore Sun, only to find out that I was actually talking to someone in the Phillipines! This newspaper laid off their union customer service department and outsourced it to a company in the Phillipines whose workers make about $4.00 per hour. Its happening all over the place.......
