Battle-Damaged Ship Models To Be Released

New Force Comics offers 'Wrath of Khan' and 'Nemesis'-era Enterprises featuring voices of their captains.

New Force Comics will release two exclusive ships this summer: a battle-damaged USS Enterprise from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and a Nemesis-scarred 1701-E.

 

Diamond Select reported that the Enterprise-E is currently in stock, while the classic Enterprise can be pre-ordered for later this spring.

 

Both ships light up and play sound clips featuring their legendary captains Kirk and Picard. William Shatner and Patrick Stewart voice their characters for the ship effects.

 

The limited edition models will be available exclusively from New Force Comics in the United States, with limited international distribution. Each ship will include a display base.

I actually have that battle damaged TWOK Enterprise. It's from Art Asylum, so it doesn't have the captain's voice. I also have the Enterprise-A from Art Asylum as well.

When I was a kid, I made my own battle-damaged Constellation. I read where in the series, they just used a lighter on an Enterprise model to create the damage so I did the same thing and it turned out great. I still have it today.

OMG I did the same thing! I created a battle scene with an NCC-1701 model with lighter battle damage chasing a model of a miranda-class light cruiser. I even melted the port nacelle pylon off with a lighter and used a soldering tip to simulate 23rd century pulse phaser scorch damage.
