Weatherman Sued for Inaccuracy

 

Frivolous lawsuits aren't just an American epidemic. A woman in Israel sued a local weatherman and TV station after his predicted sunny forecast turned to unexpected rain, which she claims gave her the flu because she was ill-prepared for it.

 

 

I think that weather forecasts should come with a disclaimer...:..."This weather person may or may not know what they are talking about"..............

If I sued every time the weatherman was wrong, I'd be a millionaire. Take today for example....Today was suppose to be sunny with a high in the high 50s, but it actually rained all day and stayed in the mid 40s.

I am really sad that none of you mentioned the greater scientific tragedy here. Rain doesn't give you the flu - being exposed to a virus gives you the flu. So unless the weatherman sneezed on her - the judge should have thrown that out right there.

Well, my weatherman was technicly correct when he said today's temperature would be 80 degrees - 40 in the morning and 40 in the afternoon.
