Abrams movie refers to Rick Berman as a former Star Trek producer. "The former Star Trek producer is not involved in this project." Former, as in prior; earlier; ancient; past. At long last? Kor37 9 Posted April 22, 2006 While I agree that fresh blood is in order, I will not trash Rick Berman. Thanks to Berman, we have had many years of Trek that we otherewise may not have had. He has done a tremendous job over the years. Just because he eventually and understandibly ran out of steam during the last few years is no reason to overlook the great job he did with TNG,Voyager,DS9 and yes, even Enterprise.
