trekz 7 Posted April 19, 2006 Memorials were held in San Francisco early this morning in memory of the terrble earthquake 100 years ago today. There were a small number of survivors in attendance, the oldest being 109! As bad as the earthquake was, the fires burned for three days afterward. I believe there will be a Discovery Channel program on Thursday night. Check your local listings! B) As Spock would say: "Fascinating!"
Odie 0 Posted April 19, 2006 (edited) It will show that after 100 years San Francisco still have the same problems that they faced 100 years ago. The city will get destroyed the same way they did back than, but this time the American taxpayers will foot the bill the rebuild the city if the earthquake hits again. Yes they made improvements, but its not enough. Edited April 19, 2006 by Odie
