Sounds very interesting. I wish they had courses like this when I was in college!

Maybe I should get a PhD in Philosophy with specialization in Star Trek?

LOL

It looks interesting and I’m not that surprised that they would offer it. (Well I am surprised to a degree, but the more I think of it the less and less that I’m surprised)

I’m looking over the study guide . . .

They have a quote:

“There is no greater challenge then the study of philosophy.”

- Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Stardate 42779

Lesson 1: The Prime Directive

Lesson 2: Ethical Egoism

Lesson 3: The Just Society

Lesson 4: What is a philosopher

Lesson 5: Nietzsche and the Borg

Lesson 6: Artificial Intelligence

Lesson 7: Personal Identity

Lesson 8: Morality and Personhood

Lesson 9: Free Will vs. Determinism

Lesson 10: The Ontological Argument

Lesson 11: Evolution vs. Intellect Design

Lesson 12: The problem of evil

Lesson 13: Cartesian Doubt

Lesson 14: Idealism

Lesson 15: The limits of human reason

It looks interesting I’m look through the whole study guide.

(And hopefully my computer will cooperate. I say this because my computer is not mulitilt tasking that good. And my computer has 1 GB of Ram!)
