2005 A.D.

2005 came and went,

It almost felt like a time slip.

With a leap second 23:59:59 past,

This year went by really fast.

From Bush's Re-inauguration to hurricane devastation,

Celebrities went to jail and Iraq elections went kind of well...

They beamed up Scotty and we all wish his family well,

Just as much for those families that went through hell,

In the Astrodome and on the streets,

We are still doing all we can to get the 'Big Easy' back on it's feet.

Enterprise ended at the end of season four,

But many fans wished for three more!

The more things change they don't stay the same,

For now it's only happy holidays.

The 'Half Blood Prince' made fans wince,

After which that they marched along to get some fish.

Deep Throat uncovered, Mt. St. Helens acted up,

Was it a race to the Supreme Court cup?

2005 was quite a year,

Now to post all the things that happened that year.

What was the best, what was the worst?

What was the one that made you burst...

With laughter, grief, or rage,

Because what you heard didn't go exactly your way.

So here you go, post away,
