'Twas a good read, even though usually I avoid watching most of Saturday night SciFi originals in favour for sci-fi short-stories... But I suppose I could make room for both given I have an interest in the genre..

One question, though: How was The Blob about Communism?

 

In relation thereto, the SciFi Channel is planning to make 28 more films of this caliber for 2006.

I've heard rumours that Serenity 2 could end up being a SciFi original due to the lukewarm results for the previous film, even though it had been critically acclaimed and climbed the IMDb's top 250 list several steps (down a few now-a-days however), and how exceptionally well the DVD-sets of Firefly have been selling.
