As we've reported several times, season three is supposed to mark a change in Enterprise's direction as they go on a mission to stop a race known as the Xindi from destroying Earth. Recently, FilmJerk has revealed that one of Enterprise's new recurring characters is named McKenzie, who is described as "a young, tough and sexy girl soldier." McKenzie and the other marines will be put to the test when an alien named Orgoth boards the ship to steal their weapons. Anthony Montgomery, who plays Travis Mayweather, says that there will be some resentment between the new marines and Enterprise's security officers. The season three premiere, "The Xindi," will reportedly have seven to eight guest stars, but as yet we don't know who they will be. The marines may be first appearing in that episode, but that hasn't been confirmed yet. The Xindi themselves will apparently be completely computer generated, but black-suited actors fill in their roles during filming. "The Xindi" will also be directed by Allan Kroeker, who directed last season's finale, "The Expanse." The second episode of the season which is currently in production will be entitled "Anomaly" and is being directed by David Straiton. This information comes from TrekWeb's Steve Krutzler, who recently visited the Enterprise set. He also revealed some information on some new sets for Enterprise: one is a command center, a brig with metal bars, and a third set that is being kept a secret for now. Finally, Enterprise's third episode for season three will be entitled "Extinction." In this episode, an alien lifeform assumes the identities of various Enterprise crewmembers including Captain Archer and Lieutenant Reed.
