I mean, c'mon he started out as a lowly navigator aboard the Gruemoll with Dukat, became a rebel with Dukat, XO on Terek Nor, leader of Cardassia and then a martyr for his people while driving the Dominion from his home. His sacrifice and leadership on Cardassia made it possible for the combined Federation,Klingon, and Romulan forces to decimate the Dominion and land ground troops on Cardassia, forcing the Dominion to capitulate. A man from such humble beginnings that went on to better things not only has my respect and admiration, but is the ideal Captain of any ship i would want to serve on.
