ARMS 0 Posted October 19, 2005 (edited) I'm going to attack you..even with a warning you cannot stop me! We have 5 times your strength B) , twice your intelligence! Is it possible that the human looking TOS 'Klingons' Worf said they do not speak of are these GM Humans? after the embarassing take over of one of their birds of prey, i can see why they would want to keep it quiet. Also i can see the Augments adopting the culture  Edited October 22, 2005 by mj
Stephen of Borg 2 Posted October 19, 2005 the Augments are super humans from the Eugenics War like Khan, not Klingon but still embarrassing
ARMS 0 Posted October 19, 2005 the Augments are super humans from the Eugenics War like Khan, not Klingon but still embarrassing B) 358851[/snapback] I know who and what they are, what i'm suggesting is that could these super humans have in time adopted Klingon lifestyles. leading to the Human looking 'Klingons' in TOS

That is exactly my interpretation of Worfs comment as well ARMS. They (ENT writers) linked those events perfectly imo. mj 7 Posted October 22, 2005 Spoiler for tonight's episdoe. Click For Spoiler I thought the Klingons had actually used some of the DNA from the Augments to make Klingon Augments, and they ended up without the ridges. Isn't that in tonight's episode?
Takara_Soong 4 Posted October 22, 2005 (edited) Basically, the non-ridged Klingons of TOS are Klingons Click For Spoiler who were affected by an attempt at genetically modifying Klingons with genetically modified human DNA. I can't remember which episode of the 2 part arc it was said in but in either Affliction or Divergence Phlox is told by the Klingon scientist that he is working with that some augment embryos were found in the wreckage of the Augment's Bird of Prey and the Klingons had used them in an attempt to enhance Klingon abilities but there were unexpected side effects (a virus that created an epidemic). Phlox asked why they kidnapped him instead of Dr. Soong and was told that security around Soong was too great so they took him because he was more familiar with Soong's work than anyone else because of his recent encounter with Soong. mj, this weekend's episode is The Forge.
