Stump Your Opponents Trivia Week

STUMP YOUR OPPONENTS

 

 

During this week you get to be the quizmaster thinking

up one question to stump and confound fellow players while earning bonus points in two different ways…

 

Every member submitting a question will receive 5

bonus points even if the question is not used in the game.

 

Players whose question Stumps another player

(causes an incorrect answer to be given) will receive

a bonus 5 points for each player stumped!

*Not answering a question is the same as answering incorrectly,

your opponent gets the points!

 

Starting NOW every Trivia playing member

who wishes to may submit ONE question (along with the

correct verifiable* answer) regarding the subject

of STAR TREK to ME (SpaceTigger) in a PM;

Answers MUST be included to receive your 5 bonus points.

*Answers for Questions which I cannot verify as correct will

be disqualified and no bonus points will be awarded so send

your proof along too.

 

ONLY Canonical material from any of the five series

or ten movies may be used; questions based on Novels,

Comic Books, Fan Fic or even TAS will not be accepted and

will not be awarded 5 bonus points for submission.

 

The Deadline for question submissions is when I

logout on the evening of 10/13/05. Questions sent

after I log out on that day will not be eligible for bonus points

nor will they be used in the game.

 

No multiple part questions:

"Who did What to Whom in Which episode"..

Those types of questions are more than ONE question.

 

True or False questions are acceptable.

 

If there is any problem with your submitted question I will contact you in PMs to work it out.

 

You need not submit questions to be eligible to play as usual

but without your submissions there may be no questions to answer.

 

Sometime during the afternoon/evening of Saturday 10/15/05

I will post up to 20 questions (assuming I receive 20 questions.)

 

 

Of course you won't recieve credit for answering your own question!

 

The 'Stump Your Opponents Trivia week' will happen during the week of

10/15/05 through 10/21/05 so make sure you send me your questions. I think that leaves you all with plenty of time come up with good questions.

How should we prove the answer? Do you want us to send in where the answer came from? For example if the question was - who lives on Antica? Answer = Anticans. Would saying that that information was specified in the TNG episode 'The Hunted' be enough or would we need to send in a quote of who told us that in the episode etc?

Just telling me the episode or movie your question is from should be sufficent proof..Or the reference material it's from such as Memory Alpha or Star Trek.com. If you do that include the webpage link so I can go look at it..
