LordOfTheBorg 1 Posted September 17, 2005 Just wondering if anyone can tell me of a good website or something to get some really good cheap/free roses, that are pretty good?
Madame Butterfly 0 Posted September 17, 2005 (edited) awwwwwwwwwww, Wally, how sweet. Roses over the net aren't cheap though. Be original, get something other than roses. More thoughtful, more uncommon. Perhaps a bouquet of lilies or tulips. One of the most memorable bouquets I ever got was small p.ussywillows mixed with peach tulips. It was stunning. LordOfTheBorg 1 Posted September 17, 2005 ...Yeah, but she asked for roses!
Madame Butterfly 0 Posted September 17, 2005 Ok then, still try to make it original. Tiny sweetheart roses, in an unusual color, of course telling her that they are unusual because she is one of a kind. I'm not aware of any good sites that deliver in Canada. He Who Shall Not Be Named 2 Posted September 17, 2005 JSYK, we aren't going out.. just good friends... 352609[/snapback] You get good friends a houseplant or a book or something like that. If she is asking for roses from you she is thinking something else.

Bethlehem 7 Posted September 17, 2005 Kor37's answer is not a bad idea, though I have not seen to many roses placed on graves.
Matt 0 Posted September 17, 2005 If you want roses but something a little inventive try a single red rose entwined with a single white rose.
Madame Butterfly 0 Posted September 17, 2005 I think a red rose incircled with 6 white roses, lots of baby's breath.
Kyra_Ashleigh 0 Posted September 17, 2005 You could always get roses snagged from a neighbor's garden. I like the sentiment... "I picked these fresh off the rose bush for you... and I even pricked my fingers a few times." Now that's sweet in my eyes, any person can go to the store to buy flowers, but when you get them directly off the bush, you are saying, "hey, I had to find the nicest, freshest flowers for you!" And of course, it doesn't hurt that you didn't have to pay for them!
