removed 0 Posted August 17, 2005 Okay this is a little children's book that is a little off kelter but adored by quite a large amount of people and worshiped by more. Now as I say, it is a little dark, but it is enjoyable and very well made. If you like Tim Burton than this can't bother you. It is an A-Z illustration book. Just if you don't have an open mind, don't look at it. You can look at the whole book here: LINK
DrWho42 13 Posted August 18, 2005 (edited) Edward Gorey's great! Here's the The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and Other Stories for those interested for some poems written by Burton. Warning: Do not read this book if you have nightmares about giving birth to some grotesque, non-human child. Edited August 18, 2005 by DrWho42
Theunicornhunter 2 Posted August 18, 2005 (edited) Just if you don't have an open mind, don't look at it. Why not just give a descriptive warning such as: Warning - this book contains dark humor and images of death or violence - it may not be suitable for people who are disturbed by images of dying children. BakulaBabe 2 Posted August 18, 2005 I loved The Gashlycrumb Tinies! I saved it so I can go back to it. I also bookmarked the Burton site so I can check it out later, since I'm a big fan of his movies. Uh, what's this "S&M Peter and Lois", wishfire?
Wishfire 2 Posted August 19, 2005 Uh, what's this "S&M Peter and Lois", wishfire? 348016[/snapback] You know, Peter and Lois from Family Guy? I have action figured of them pressed in S&M gear. (I collect odd things here and there.)
