Takara_Soong 4 Posted August 2, 2005 It's been a little while since I saw the episode with the Guardian of Forever. I'm trying to remember how Kirk, Spock and McCoy got back to the 23rd century. I know they came back through the Guardian but how. Was it just there for them to step through or did they have to get it to open. VaBeachGuy 12 Posted August 2, 2005 The show never explained what happened back in 1930 for them to "re-open" the Guardian. We only see it from the Guardian's planet with them exiting it but not how they entered it. I had wondered the same myself as I was watching it today.
