Fantastic Four - Fantastic

I just got back from seeing Fantastic Four, I thought it was really great and although I have never read the comic it really entertained me.

 

I thought the acting was very good and I thought the woman who played Sue Storm was hot

 

 

I thought Dr Doom was a fantastic villain

 

I liked the humour in the movie such as

 

Nurse: Whoa! You're hot.

 

Johnny Storm: Why, thank you, so are you.

 

 

Overall a fun movie and i am looking forward to the Sequel

I thought FF was a great movie. I disagree about Dr. Doom though. I thought he was the worst part of the movie. He was completely different from the comic books.

The Doctor Doom character was pathetic.

 

Jealousy has nothing to with it. It's simply a fact that the Doom character was reduced to a generic evil guy with no complexity or depth to speak of.

Kor- The Doom in the comics was a self important egomaniac

 

he spoke in the third person for Petes sake- They got rid of that and the nast accent too

 

The rest was spot on- Remember he just became Dr Doom- he has yet to show his really evil side

The real Dr. Doom was horribly disfigured in a lab explosion. It had nothing to do with Reed's spaceflight. The real Dr. Doom's skin didn't turn into metal. He created a suit of armor to hide his disfigurement. I would have liked the accent. Even in the movie, he is from Latveria. So why no accent?

Well they had to change some things- Movies always do that

 

But the accent was there- It was some bootleg british/ American accent that Julian always does- See Mr Fantastic had a semi accent too...

I'd be able to write a good story for the sequel.

 

Try to make the best out of a bad situation which would include recasting every role except Human Torch and making The Thing completely CGI.

 

For the right money of course. :)
