Joel Schumacher needs to be taken into a public square and beaten with a Pillow case full of Rusty Door Knbs

i voted Batman, it was a tough choice, he is an awsome Director, I went with in this order for my top 3

1. Batman

2. Charlie and the Choclate Factory

Sleepy Hollow

Willy Wonka

There's something painful about Eddie that I can't watch it all the way through.

 Did he direct Pee Wee's Big Adventure?? :dude::flowers:

Talk about a hard decision!

I really liked the very first Batman. Batman Returns was so dreadful one might imagine that Ed Wood had directed it. Mars Attacks was far better then the jingoistic Independence Day, and Sleepy Hollow is to my mind a classic horror film in the same vein as the old Universal classics.

In the end though I had to go with the one I enjoy the most:

Ed Wood

Proof that drive is mightier then talent (if you doubt this, just look at our President...the Ed Wood of politics). :flowers:

Probably one of the Batmans. It's been so long since I've seen them that I can't remember which is which.

If I had seen Big Fish, I have a feeling I would choose it instead.

I haven't seen many Burton movies (so I won't vote) but I was really impressed with Big Fish. I've seen Mars Attacks! which is actually pretty good, I was actually really scared of those Martians when I was younger.

I've never really cared for his work. In many of the movies listed here I think they would have been better with someone else at the helm. That's just my personal opinion though.

My favourite as well.

By-the-way, Tim Burton didn't direct The Nightmare Before Christmas, which contains a rather big fanbase so I added films he produced as well.

Yes, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure was actually the first collaboration between Mr Burton and Danny Elfman.

I think Tim Burton is so unbelievably over-rated that it is not even funny.

In fact I do not like a single one of those movies. I think he is all about the big weirdness and the story never emerges. Especially his newest ones. Big Fish stunk. Everyone loves it. I am a huge movie fan and have made short films and taken film courses... and I think Tim Burton is a bum.
