Anyone else a fan of these films? I just finished watching the first one again, brilliant movie. If you don’t know, Re-animator is a movie based on a story by H.P. Lovecraft about a scientist Herbert West (Jeffrey Combs) and his quest to find the serum that brings dead people back to life. They are horror movies, and I think this is Jeffrey’s best work; it’s definitely one of the things that got him popular. I have seen/own Reanimator and Beyond Re-animator, but I haven’t seen Bride of Re-Animator. Good films that everyone should see. Some of my favorite movies of all time.

I thought the movie was great and the short-story better*. I consider Dr. Herbest West one of my favourite fictional characters and enjoy the storyline on how he and his partner try to continue his research with the serum he has devised.

Like Gamera, I've only seen two out of the three Reanimator films made

Herbert West: Reanimator

Deanimator [Game based off short-story]

*I dislike how the ending of the short-story doesn't really leave room for a sequel though. Sorry if that's a spoiler.

I've seen all three  , but am I imagining thst there's a fourth one? Not "From Beyond", but a relatively recent Re-animator? I'll have to go to Hollywood Video and see what they have.

I checked IMDb, and there seems to be a fourth Re-Animator in the making..

It's either called “Return of Re-Animator” or “House of the Re-Animator”.

Although I think it is probably just an Internet rumour, an IMDb users claims...

Herbert West is going to be recruited by the CIA to re-animate the President of the U.S. The setting shall be the White House.
Should make for a rather interesting movie though. Edited by DrWho42

Saw the first 2 films on (MPIX movie station)and the 3rd Re-Animator film on one of our movie stations that shows the more recent films they are certainly one of Jeffrey Combs other works not mentioned very often but interesting scary horror films nonetheless.
