Quantum Leap Fans Unite

Recommended Posts

Hi there people,

One of my other favorite shows in college was Quantum Leap. Now, thanks to the DVDs I can enjoy the leaps all over again. Just think of it you can relive your favorite episodes over again. Or if you were too young to see the series when it ran now you can see it for the first time. I saw it during one of those Quantum Leap weeks. I remember the first episode I saw was the one where he was the disc jockey.

I was just looking for any updates regarding Quatum Leap at IMDB and the only thing I found seems to be for a tv movie.

Synopsis:

Twenty years after the original series left Dr. Sam Beckett "leaping" into the great unknown, Sam is finally reunited with Al, his old mentor and "partner in time." But when circumstances beyond their control send Sam away once more, Al must recruit his lost friend's daughter to pick up where her father left off and hopefully help find Sam again in the process.

There isn't much information regarding it though and no mention of Scott Bakula.

I've known about this TV movie for a while now, I've also heard that they may turn that into a TV series with Scott Bakula showing up every now and then as a special guest.

But fans know that Sam won't be rescued, since the last episode of the original Quantum Leap said that Sam never went home. I was depressed after it said that at the end of QL, what a great ending to a series, one of the best endings ever! I don't want them to hurt that ending by him actually getting home, yes it would be a happy thing, but it would mess up the continuity.

Now that ENT is over, Scott has all the time to be on another series now.
