sea trooper 0 Posted February 3, 2006 (edited) A photonic civilization that lives in subspace discovers Paris's Captain Proton program and interprets it as a real world while they see bio-organic bags of mostly water as fake. They go to war and who better than Captain Janeway to stop them? She becomes Queen Arachnia of the Spider-people! And one hot spider-person she is . Well Paris's Captain Proton program has never been one of my favorite subjects on the show, but this was a fun episode. 4 » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Edited February 4, 2006 by sea trooper

youbroughtheryouRiker 2 Posted October 12, 2007 (edited) 3. Janeway looked good, and the photonic creatures were a novel twist, but they played up something cheesy, and it still came out cheesy. Edited October 12, 2007 by youbroughtheryouRiker
Gummy 0 Posted October 12, 2007 3. Janeway looked good, and the photonic creatures were a novel twist, but they played up something cheesy, and it still came out cheesy. Agreed. It was a little too cheesy for my tastes.
Dabo Queen 0 Posted January 19, 2008 Five from me...loved the cheesy, old school sci-fi movie schtick. :)
Stephen of Borg 2 Posted August 7, 2009 a tribute to the good ol' movies when going to the theater were made to have fun in. This episode is just pure enjoyment and a nice way to just relax. The scenes of Captain Proton are a great tribute to Flash Gordon and all of the old films of the 30s and 40s. I'm a fan of the old films of that time so I really liked this. 5 out of 5.
