His first love leaves, he forgets his first love and all of his memory for his first two years, his daughter dies, and this. Stephen of Borg 2 Posted August 6, 2009 The Doctor kind of overreacted to this situation. Like Picard has said, humans don't have the priviledge to just shut the emotions off or in the case erase their memory. It kind of puts in question if the Doctor really could handle the job if he were human.
