sea trooper 0 Posted March 3, 2006 Not the best two-parter of the series, and in all pretty weak. I can't feel bad for the holograms because, well, they're holograms. They're photons held together by force fields, programed to intake information and save it. Worf's holodeck programs where he kills countless enemies have never been a problem to anyone. That's because holograms are computers with personalities, nothing more. Since the Doctor is a main character, he's learned a lot and choses his ethics, so we're used to him and sometimes forget he's not human. But that's different... Plus Voyager OWNED the Hirogens so that's cool too.
youbroughtheryouRiker 2 Posted October 30, 2007 Again, a 2. Kinda cool that the Doctor would shoot his own Mobile Emitter. Depressing that Janeway doesn't give the Doctor a good dressing down, and she never really has. It's always the Doctor wanting to take drastic action in a fit of remorse, though I think Janeway should have taken the Mobile Emitter away.
GhostofMajorHayes 10 Posted June 17, 2008 I gave this a 4. I really enjoyed how the holograms developed into a force to be reckoned with and were becoming the very thing they wished to destroy.
