Beautiful episode.

Completely stolen by the superb performance of Famke Jannsen who would go on to play a villain in the awesome Goldeneye and Jean Grey in the excellent X-Men movies.

The way she roamed around the ship and had every man (and prolly some women) under her thumb was incredible.

The subtle restraint Picard showed when he was clearly attracted to her was wonderful and the look on his face when she met the guy she was to be given to at the end was heartbreaking.

Superb.

3. Janssen acted wonderfully, as did Picard. I have to admit they did a good job in keeping this episode from going puerile, as it had ample opportunity to. Nice job using Data as they did. Still, this episode didn't draw me in that much. Alrik was a shallow character, as was Briam. The Ferengi were a cute touch, but it just wasn't that great. So a 3 from me.
