A very odd episode, but strong performances made it interesting.

The dialogue between the captives was strong as it showed how they all reacted differently to the situation, and the episode was simple but effective.

The False Picard's antics on the Enterprise D were also funny and strangely sinister.

Overall, I enjoyed this episode, which was successful in conveying a claustrophobic tone to the viewers.
