A depressed Jake misses his friend Nog who is away at Starfleet Academy. After spending the day on the Promenade he returns his quarters and discovers his father having a drink with a woman. The woman just happens to be Jakes dead mother Jennifer Sisko.

 

Having explained to Jake that Jennifer is from the Mirror Universe, Cpt. Sisko must leave for a meeting that lasts several hours. Upon returning from his meeting he discovers that Jake and Jennifer have left and gone to the Mirror Universe.

3. The more they do the Mirror Universe, the less I'm buying it. Seriously, how does Jake let himself be talked into going over there? At least they did the cute follow-ups with "Dax," "Bashir," and "Kira." I was hoping that the episode's title would mean they severed the ability for crosses over, but as soon as Jennifer offered to help with the upgrades/repairs, I knew what it was referring to. And given Kira's last line, you know there'll be another such episode. But please no one spoil it for me. I'm getting enough spoilers on the series from watching the Special Features on the seventh disc of each season.

I like this episode if for no other reason than the interaction between mirror Worf and mirror Garak. Priceless.

I never seen this episode yet But i like the episodes for the mirror universe and after reading the new mirror universe books I really understand it a bit more and seeing Intendant Kira always a pleasure :b-day:
