A very good episode.

Pretty decent make-up effects considering the time.

But I personally found more interesting is the first sign of sinister actions inside the Federation, with the Admiral giving weapons to both sides in a civil war to rescue hostages, which causes a disasterous increase in the savagery of the conflict.

I like that, I like it a lot.

Not one of my favourite episodes however the dying words of Mark Jameson to his wife always make me sigh.

A LOT better than I was expecting. This episode gets so many mixed reviews, it's hard to know who to believe. I guess it's a like it or hate it episode, and I personally really did enjoy it. Clayton Rohner did a great job as Mark Jameson. I didn't find the final words of Jameson corny but very touching and sad. The quest for the fountain of youth is found, but has it's price

***** out of *****
