Stephen of Borg 2 Posted September 16, 2005 Dr. Phlox is at a crossroad when a radiation sick patient needs medical attention and the patient happens to be of a species that hates Denobulans and vice verse. Meanwhile; Trip, Travis and Reed attempt to rescue Denobulan scientists on a nearby planet. In the spirit of TOS, "The Breach" deals with prejudice and how people have to overcome preconceived ideas about people they don't know. In that light, this episode is very well done and gets it's point across brilliantly. Phlox plays the exception to the rule, he has no hatred for the patient or his species, but the same can't be said about the sick patient at the beginning. But can Phlox changes his hateful mind? Watch and find out ***** out of *****
youbroughtheryouRiker 2 Posted June 22, 2007 4. Phlox and the patient actually brought it back down to 4. Mayweather, Reed, and Tucker may this cool with the danger. I love where Trip threatens to give a plasma enema to the one Denobulan. Good laugh. Fighting time, and stubbornness. I didn't hate the bit with Phlox and the Antaran, but it wasn't the highlight of the episode for me.
