Stephen of Borg 2 Posted August 5, 2005 The Enterprise visits an automated station that has offered to repair the ship after it was damaged in the episode “Minefield”. Everything goes well and the crew is introduced to a machine that “seems to replicate food” (early reference to the replicator), that is until Ensign Travis Mayweather is found dead… I’ve said this many times and I’ll say it again, I really did enjoy “Dead Stop”. Very interesting episode that has a twist, I love it when twists are involved. The ending is also very cool. ***** out of *****
youbroughtheryouRiker 2 Posted July 21, 2007 For my money, the twist in this episode was lame. The explanation thereof was plausible, but still... lame. Nice to see them try and get Travis more involved though. Anthony seems like furniture in a lot of these episodes. Other than the twist, the episode was quite watchable. Good stuff. 4. GhostofMajorHayes 10 Posted January 19, 2008 Considering how little we saw Mayweather in season 3 of ENT, the crew should've left him for dead in this ep. :) Anyways, it gets a 4 from me. Nice twist and a very fresh idea.
