youbroughtheryouRiker 2 Posted January 27, 2007 I was bordering on this one between a 3 and a 4. After McCoy said that heat wasn't working, I figured out what would. But, that wasn't until at least halfway through, so I cannot say I figured it out too quickly. Good acting from Bones, Spock and Kirk. Good storyline, too. Slight gap in story, but it is forgivable and almost negligible. So I gave it a 4.
Kor37 9 Posted January 27, 2007 (edited) This was a decent episode which introduced several things into Trek canon. The first was that we find out that Kirk has a brother. We also find out that Vulcans have an inner eyelid to protect them from the sun's glare (a bit of a contrived solution imo). A similar solution was used later on in TNG when Worf got crippled. GhostofMajorHayes 10 Posted September 16, 2007 It was good. Very gloomy especially that bit where Spock goes blind, but redeemable when Kirk and Co. succeed with saving Deneva and Spock's admission of having an inner eyelid that saved his vision. :)
