youbroughtheryouRiker 2 Posted April 5, 2007 I gave it a 5, mostly due in part to Scotty's performance. His working in that crawlspace really drew me in. Nice work from Takei, Kelley, and Shatner, too. I loved how they figured out that one for Kirk couldn't take out McCoy or Sulu so quickly. Great episode overall. Gummy 0 Posted April 5, 2007 I liked this one because of Lee Merriweather. I loved her as Catwoman on Batman too.
Kor37 9 Posted April 5, 2007 I liked this one because of Lee Merriweather. I loved her as Catwoman on Batman too. The only time Lee Merriweather was ever Catwoman was in the Batman movie. Trek alumni Julie Newmar and Eartha Kitt played Catwoman in the series. Lee Merriweather was also a regular in "The Time Tunnel", one of my favorite shows. "That Which Survives" is an ok episode. Not too bad for Season 3. I found it unbelievable though that Spock comes up with the "reverse polarity" solution rather than Scotty. They almost ran out of redshirts to kill in this episode...lol. GhostofMajorHayes 10 Posted September 22, 2007 I always liked this ep. I rate it as great. I thought Lee Meriweathers performance was perfect. She had the emotionless demeanor of a hologram down so well, it makes me wonder why she wasn't cast in other eps as a Vulcan. It was also neat how her holographic protection program gave her the ability to kill simply by touching a person.
