youbroughtheryouRiker 2 Posted December 1, 2006 (edited) This episode started out tremendously. Tormolen was wonderfully portrayed. I absolutely loved Uhura and Kirk's reaction to having to listen to Riley singing the entire time. Soooo funny. Spock's inner human getting out was nicely done. It started to drag just a little bit at the end though. Compounding the problem with the engines seems to me as just a ploy to fill time that they couldn't sell in commercials. Overall still a 4 though. Edited December 1, 2006 by youbroughtheryouRiker
Kor37 9 Posted December 1, 2006 As were most of the 1st season episodes, this one was great. The Trek regulars really got to show off their acting chops. This was also the basis of the 2nd TNG episode, "The Naked Now"..........when they had already ran out of ideas after the pilot episode..........
GhostofMajorHayes 10 Posted September 16, 2007 A good ep. Bonus points for cool plot and Sulu doing his D'artagnan impersonation on the bridge. I think this is the ep where the bond between Kirk and Spock really began to form.

Dimitry Badinov 0 Posted April 13, 2008 Scotty doesn't need a virus to get drunk! Oh... and TNG also used Star Trek: Phase II episodes such as "The Child" and "Devils Due" (Star Trek: Phase II was a proposed television series, but instead they made The Motion Picture, which was based off the Phase II episode "In Thy Image")
WildStar 0 Posted April 14, 2008 The Naked Time is One of my faves it shows how Sulu's adverse side and some of the strangenesses to the crue of the starship Extra
I.Q. 0 Posted April 21, 2008 I love any episode that has a "Spock" moment in it.... And in my humble opinion, this episode contains the best Spock moment in the whole of the series.... On a scale of 1-10............ I give it a 9.

SeeingEyeBorg 0 Posted May 5, 2008 Gave it a five. When Kirk starts professing his unconventional love for the ship, my jaw hits the floor. As it did when Sulu got all sweaty and shirtless. And the Spock moment with Nurse "Lwaxana" Chapel was beautiful. When Spock breaks down, it's quite awesome to watch Nimoy go.
rob39874 0 Posted May 28, 2008 I liked this one as well but I think the TNG episode was slightly better
Stephen of Borg 2 Posted October 18, 2008 if the dude kept his glove on, this story would never have happened!! What is that guy doing in Starfleet if he doesn't know to keep his protective clothes on! I guess they needed a way for the virus to get onboard, but it was stupid mistake. The rest of the episode is great though. Spock's crying scene and Sulu's sword play make this episode great, but I give it a four due to the beginning. Ian Wood 1 Posted October 19, 2008 It was awesome, I like how they later played it out on TNG.
