I know someone that is about to watch True Grit for the first time ever.

 

Anyone that has seen True Grit please post your impressions of the movie for her. Remember though, don't give any spoilers away until she's watched it.

True Grit is my absolute favourite John Wayne movie. It was one of my favourite movies when I was a kid and still has a very special place in my heart. John Wayne won an Oscar for that I believe. Truly a roller coaster ride of emotions. There were parts when I was cheering and others when the tears just started to flow.
