But diserpeances of the Romulan & Cardassian scouts has increased hostility between the two races, and the Klingons and the Federation are left as mediators. So Starfleet orders the refit of the derelict U.S.S. Osprey, with the latest technology. It's mission: To find the scouts and avoid another costly war.
