Takara_Soong 4 Posted January 1, 2005 According to TrekWeb: Paramount Home Entertainment has announced that the upcoming 2-disc edition of the eighth STAR TREK feature will be released early next year and will have a SRP of $19.99. DVDAnswers lists the release date as March 15th 2005. The DVD set will contain a new audio commentary from actor/director Jonathan Frakes and screenwriters Brannon Braga and Ronald D. Moore and a textual commentary by Michael and Denise Okuda. In addition, the bonus disk for the DVD set will include these featurettes: "The STAR TREK Universe" (a collection of programs such as "Jerry Goldsmith: A Tribute", "The Legacy of Zefram Cochrane" and "First Contact: The Possibilities"), "The Borg Collective" (featuring "Unimatrix One", "The Queen" and "Design Matrix"), "FIRST CONTACT Production" (featuring "The Story", "The Missle Silo", "The Deflector Dish", "From "A" to "E", "Making FIRST CONTACT" and "The Art of FIRST CONTACT"), "Scene Desconstruction" (featuring "Borg Queen Assembly", "Escape Pod Launch" and "Borg Queen's Demise"), extensive storyboards, a production gallery, and the film's theatrical teaser and trailer. LoveMalePecs1 0 Posted January 1, 2005 (edited) Guess that means I might have to get all 10 films on DVD VI with Classic Trek and the other IV with the TNG cast now since I still have them in VHS format?? and see if i can sell them along with the VHS and DVD format of Armeggedon?? and they take up alot less space in my drawer.
